🌾 Small-Town Roots, Story-Driven Heart
I was born and raised in the small town of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, where it wasn’t uncommon to see Amish horse-and-buggy traffic sharing the road with cars. Growing up in a place where life moved a little slower taught me to notice the details, value connection, and appreciate real moments—qualities I bring to every session as a Huntsville, Alabama lifestyle photographer.

My favorite people to photograph have always been my two girls—now both adults (somehow). I still follow them around with my camera, and every once in a while I even manage to sneak in photos of them with friends. Those genuine, unscripted moments are exactly why I love lifestyle photography and why my clients in Huntsville and North Alabama trust me to capture images that feel real.

🏈 Lessons Learned on the Sidelines
When photographing football players running onto the field, it helps to know which direction they’re coming from—so you don’t get trampled in the process. Ask me how I know. 😅 Years of experience have taught me to anticipate the action, stay calm under pressure, and capture the moment no matter what’s happening—skills I bring to every session, from seniors to sports and lifestyle photography in Huntsville, Alabama.

On the coldest morning of the year, the ever-bubbly and encouraging Laura Daniels met us in downtown Starkville for an outdoor shoot of my 12 year old son.
